MGMT anuncian la salida de su tercer álbum. “MGMT” saldrá a la venta el próximo 17 de septiembre vía Columbia Records. El disco incluirá el tema “Alien Days” presentado en el Record Store Day de este año.
“MGMT” fue grabado en los estudios Tarbox Road del productor Dave Fridmann en Nueva York. También incluirá una versión de “Instropection” de Faine Jade y dos temas ya presentados en directo: “Mystery Disease” y “Your Life Is A Lie”.
En una entrevista a Rolling Stone, el dúo confirmó que ellos no intentan hacer música que la gente entienda a la primera. Los videoclips de “Alien Days”, “Your Life Is A Lie” y “Cool Song Nº2” están en plena fase creativa.

Our Mother's Day is actually going to be raelly low-key.
