Smashing Pumpkins reeditan el box de “The Aeroplane Flies High” (1996). La nueva edición se lanza en tres formatos diferentes: en 6 CDs + DVD, 5 LPs y descarga. El DVD recoge un concierto de la banda de Billy Corgan el 4 de julio de 1997 en Francia.
Además, incluye un libro de 46 páginas con un texto del crítico musical David Wild más notas al pie de cada corte del propio Corgan. Junto a las 33 canciones originales remasterizadas, incluirá 90 cortes extras y 14 audio/visuales. El material añadido son maquetas, descartes, versiones, singles y grabaciones en vivo del Mellon Collie tour.
El lanzamiento se realizará vía Virgen/UMe el 23 de julio. La banda ya está trabajando en el nuevo álbum que sustituirá a “Oceanía”.
