Fatboy Slim anuncia una actuación gratuita para personal sanitario

Norman Cook, más conocido artísticamente como Fatboy Slim, anuncia una actuación gratuita para todos los trabajadores sanitarios que están luchando por superar la pandemia del Coronavirus.

Liam Gallagher, Manic Street Preachers, Jacqui Abbott & Paul Heaton –quien curiosamente fuera compañero de Norman Cook en The Housemartins– son algunos de los artistas que ya han anunciado un concierto gratuito para ayudar a combatir la batalla contra el Coronavirus. No obstante, el último gran nombre en anunciar un evento especial ha sido el productor y Dj Fatboy Slim.

La noticia fue difundida a través de su Twitter, Instagram y Facebook junto a un comunicado en el que el que invita a todos los "médicos, enfermeras, bomberos, policía y personal de limpieza a que suelten el pelo y bailen al final de esta emergencia". El concierto se celebrará el 28 de octubre en su ciudad natal, Brighton.

Recently, friends of mine who work in the @nhswebsite asked me to send a video message to thank and cheer on the frontline troops and in it I, (half) jokingly said, we should all have a big party together when this is all over. As so many people responded to the comment, I thought, ‘why not?’ By the time life returns to normal we will all want to celebrate together and, I would like to do my bit to reward and thank everyone who has been holding our lives together in these most difficult of times. So I extend an invitation to all NHS doctors, nurses, support workers, porters and cleaners plus all blue light staff, ambulance, police and fire service (and importantly to their plus ones) to let their hair down with me and dance off the cobwebs to rejoice in the end of this emergency.
