Jonny Pierce, carismático líder de la banda de The Drums, anunciaba hace un año que tenía previsto sacar disco en solitario a principios de 2013, incluso podíamos escuchar un par de adelantos del mismo -un tema llamado “I Didn’t Realise” y otro que presentó en la web de Vogue-. Pues bien, los fans del cantante tendrán que esperar, o eso ha publicado Pierce mediante una carta colgada en su cuenta de Instagram. En ésta podemos leer que de momento el disco “Queen Nail” permanece en el anonimato, ya que prefiere centrarse en su nuevo proyecto con su actual banda.
“Para todos los fans que esperaban la publicación de 'Queen Nail', lo primero de tod, gracias y os quiero. Vuestra espera y ánimo lo son todo para mi. Estoy muy orgulloso del álbum y de tener un increíble sello que lo publique, sin embargo, desde que empezásemos a trabajar en lo nuevo de The Drums, mi corazón y mi camino han tenido un gran cambio y tendré que mantener este nuevo disco aparcado por un tiempo. Saldrá algún día. Al mismo tiempo, preparaos para el nuevo disco de The Drums, nunca hemos sonado tan honestos/alocados.

Ashley Cecil on I'm not all the way through the book yet, but like you, it has grtealy impacted my thoughts and actions. I've started many conversations lately with, you've got to read The Omnivore's Dilemma ' If consumers were educated at that level about the food they eat, it would change the industry massively. Policies would change, there would be much more transparency and more healthful and ethical food options. It's hard to eat that way now, since Pollan's book is not widely read and our options are limited as a result.Locally though, many restaurants display the Kentucky Proud label and we do have more and better options in terms of our grocery stores (such as Rainbow Blossom). Unfortunately that is only true if you live in the east side of the city, but that is a whole other issue.Thanks for the comment Michelle.
