  1. A little rationality lifts the quality of the debate here. Thanks for coniributtng!

  2. I dunno about best, and I dunno what you mean by business . However, my buses are iunrsed through Lincoln General and/or Lancer. Lancer is one of the best in commercial insurance, and they go after nuisance claims with a hammer (which is good, as it keeps your costs down!) and they also have various safety materials you can borrow for a safety seminar you can hold at your place. Lincoln General is not quite as proactive, but they do send an auditor / evaluator to check up on your risk-abatement which also helps to keep your costs down. Both are commercial auto/truck/bus/limo insurance companies.

  3. Run the numbers. Whole costs about ten times as much as term. If you inevst the difference, you're WAY ahead of the game. The only way you get your money back on whole life, is by DYING. Otherwise, the cash value is about 10% of what you've paid in pretty crappy return, from an inevstment point of view. Define your goal. For most people, buying term inevsting the difference, is the most cost effective way to acheive the goal.

  4. First, you have to get a property and caauslty insurance license. That entails pre-licensing education credits and successfully passing the state exam. You won't be able to start your own agency, if that is what you are thanking. Insurance companies appoint agents to sell their products. If you don't have an agency appointment you can't sell their insurance. Companies are very picky when it comes to authorizing who will represent them. I can assure you that they will not appoint an agent who is starting from scratch and is intending to sell insurance part time. Instead you will need to find a job as an agent with an insurance agency that already has those critical agency appointments. Learn the ropes, develop a book of business (clients) and at some point you might be able to think about starting your own agency. Maybe.Good luck and best wishes.

  5. You need to work with an insurance brekor who is used to dealing with these issues. Foreign travel and foreign citizenship are specialized life insurance risks. It will depend on your citizenship, how often and how long you visit, what type of visa you have here, etc. If you are approved without excluding certain territories, it will cover you regardless of where you are.
