Red Hot, la organización que utiliza las herramientas del pop para concienciar y combatir el SIDA, acaba de publicar una de sus mejores referencias hasta la fecha. Se titula "Master Mix: Red Hot + Arthur Russell" y es un doble álbum en el que una lista de primeras espadas del pop rinden tributo al genial músico neoyorquino, que precisamente falleció en 1992 tras contraer el SIDA.
El disco lo publica Yep Roc (Popstock! en nuestro país) el 21 de octubre, pero puede escucharse ya del tirón gracias al player que te incluimos a continuación, cortesía de la National Public Radio estadounidense. El playlist es el siguiente...
